We are ready to go!

Smooth travels to Madrid and Pamplona by air. Taxi to Saint Jean Pied de Port (SJPDP) not as smooth in regard to major car sickness from switchback road about 90 mins long.

SJPDP is beautiful. We walked around the French town, got our passport/credentials at the Pilgrim’s Welcome Center, had some rose wine on the Nevé River then a delicious smoked trout dinner and Basque dessert and of course crepes.

We may need to change day one since the prediction is snow and ice on the Napoleon route the day we walk to Roncesvalles. They will shut the path down.
